We’re a Quality Standard Butcher, so all our meat is from animals born, raised and slaughtered in England, Scotland or Wales and it all carries the Quality Standard Mark. Our prime scotch or locally reared beef (well hung for enhanced flavour), South Downs lamb and local pork all really are as tasty and tender as you would expect from quality, free range meat. We make all our own sausages (award winning!) and burgers on the premises as well a wide range of items like marinated kebabs, stuffed medallions of lamb, mini roasts (stuffed chicken breasts wrapped in streaky bacon), Tuscan chicken and Chicken Cushions (a boned leg stuffed with our sausage meat and tied with string into a cushion).
On the deli counter you’ll find our very popular home-cooked ham, our tasty handmade scotch eggs, lots of cheeses (many of them local), olives, patés and much more. There are also our homemade pies and quiches and a selection of carefully selected sauces for those times when quick and easy is called for!
